Frisco Farm  (CSA)

Frisco Farm sits on a 12 acre parcel along the banks of the San Francisco River, just south of Glenwood, New Mexico; adjacent to the Gila Wilderness.

 The farm is run by Glenwood native, Kyle Skaggs and Anne Le Fevre, a seasoned New Mexico farmer.

All prouduce from the farm is chemical and pesticide free.

2010 will be the first year of commercial production for Frisco Farm and we're looking for your personal involvement to help us grow.

Community supported Agriculture (CSA)

Community supported Agriculture is a unique and timely relationship between a farm and the people in the local community who eat, and who care enough about themselves and their family to choose to eat only wholesome food.

Members of the community sign up in advance of harvest for a "share" of the produce harvested from the farm in a given season.

Throughout the growing year, CSA members receive a weekly distribution of goods; picked up at the Farm or a local Distribution Point in each of the towns in Catron County.

Our CSA

The Frisco Farm CSA will operate from the first week of June through October. 

There will be share pickup locations in the communities of Glenwood, Cliff/Gila, Reserve and Silver City.

Weekly distributions will average $15 worth of fairly priced produce. 

Shares will vary throughout the season, depending upon what is ready for harvest. 

Early season distributions will be heaavy on greens, but as the weather warms, variety will increase.

Expect to see many of the following in your weekly share"

Early Season:

Salad mix, Arugula, Kale, Collards, Chard, Spinach, Radishes, Cilantro, Turnips, Bok Choy.

Mid to Late Season:

Salad mix, Arugula, Kale, Collards, Chard, Radishes, Cilantro, Turnips,  Parsley, Summer Squash, Cucumbers, Basil Scallions, Tomatoes, Peppers, Carrots, Beets. Cabbage, Onions, Garlic, Melons, Rutabagas, Winter squash, Celeriac, Sunchokes.
